"How do we respond to free gifts"
 
If someone was trying to give you something for free how would you react? We all get solicitations from different businesses offering us free items. What has your response been to those ads?
1. DON’T BELIEVE: There is always a catch. It is never free. They really don’t mean it.
2. DON’T HAVE TIME: I don’t have time to pick up the gift. I don’t have time to use the gift.
3. DON’T NEED: I have everything I need. I don’t need this item.
4. WANTS TO BARGAIN I don’t want that particular gift but will take another gift in its place.
5. ACCEPTANCE- I accept the gift.

These are just a few of the reasons why people do not accept free gifts. I have personally given many tangible free gifts and have received some of these responses. As a youth, I could never imagine that someone could turn down a free gift. As I have advanced in years, I have learned this condition does exist. People do turn down free gifts. As far as God’s free gift of love, I pray your response has been or will be acceptance.
