Isaiah 26: 3-4

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You,
because he trusts in You.

Trust in the LORD forever, for in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting
strength.
This is a wonderful promise. Often times in life, we encounter
uncertainty. We are overwhelmed with thoughts of agitation,
fear, and anxiety. Situations in life create conflict. We don’t
seem to know what to do but God promises perfect peace.
However, God’s peace is based on our trust
in Him. According to Webster’s Dictionary Trust means “a:
assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth
of someone or something
b:
one in which confidence is placed”. If we keep our mind on God
but do not trust what He does, then we will never experience
“perfect peace”.
In any type of relationship, it must be
based on trust. God can always be trusted. His reputation is
outlined in the Bible. If we make an effort to read about His
reputation, we will know the true character of God and His
undeniable, incredible, and overwhelming strength, power, and
ability. So, keep your mind on God and trust Him.
